Our Suppliers

We source our vegetables as locally and ethically as possible. We'd like to introduce you to our main suppliers...

The Long Causeway Market Garden

Currently, our most local grower is Will, who runs his farm on the hills high above Todmorden. In just three years he has transformed his plot from an exposed, upland bog to an acre of productive organic vegetable garden. Will provides us with fabulous salad leaves throughout the warmer months, plus spring onions, beetroot, tomatoes and greens. His salad leaves are always picked for us first thing on a Friday morning. It doesn’t get any fresher than that! Will uses a ‘no dig’ method on his land, which not only yields amazing produce, but also contributes to soil health and helps to prevent pests and diseases.

Organic North - New Smithfield’s Market in Manchester

Organic North a members run co-operative, the largest and longest-established wholesalers of certified organic produce in the North.  They are on a mission to mend our broken, wasteful and polluting food system. Organic North have enjoyed close relationships with some farmers for over 25 years, and it is on this basis that they have been able to consistently provide UK grocers, veg-box schemes, and many more, with their weekly organic fruit & veg. They are committed to buying their veg seasonally and as locally as possible, and do not source their imported goods from further afield than Europe. They are also tremendously nice and good fun on a night out (as our team discovered to their peril!)
