Joint Coordinator (x2 part-time roles) £12,506, 18.5 hours/week each
Join the vegetable revolution! Pennine Cropshare, the not-for-profit, organic Veg Bag Scheme, delivering healthy, sustainable vegetables, fruit and bread in Calderdale and Lancashire is looking for two part-time Coordinators to work together to manage the day-to-day running of the organisation.
Each Coordinator may have areas of specialism, but both must be able to cover core areas of work which include liaising with suppliers, ordering and checking deliveries; dealing with customer queries online; organising and managing the weighing and packing staff and volunteers and liaising with the delivery drivers as well as making sure the database is up to date and any issues flagged with Directors.
Specialist areas of responsibility include: data analysis,including provision of graphs and charts; bookkeeping and liaison with accountants; production of marketing materials and publicity and customer communications.
Applicants will ideally have excellent knowledge of seasonal fruit and veg, experience of working in a similar customer facing organisation, be a confident communicator and user of everyday IT systems (including spreadsheets, email/Word/Google docs), have experience of working with paid and volunteer team members and of digital and other marketing techniques as well as an interest in sustainable food systems. An awareness of health and safety regulations is required.
